MAde in Hong Kong= China Made

As the title mentions, i am going to tok about goods that are made in China.. Friends that are close to me will know that i dislike goods made in China as they are really poor in design and or quality..

Went sh00ping on Monday to look for a watch that features my favourite artiste- Daniel Wu. ... Been looking at it for the past few months and have decided to buy it.. Here's the design

But on a sh00ping trip on tt fateful mondae, i actualli discovered two things that will ake me stay off seiko... Firstly, it is now made in Hong Kong.. We should know that Hong Kong has actualli been "returned" to China since years ago and i believe they should try harder to smoke us consumers as made in HK is actualli the same as made in China!!!! Secondli, i happened to chance upon this discovery onli on monday.. That not all seiko watches are sapphire crystal surfaces- meaning that it is not scratch proof if it is not of that crystal... This is unlike few years back, where all seiko i believe hvae sapphire crystal surface to make it scratch proof.. N i feel so fortunate that i have not bought that watch which has a hardlex surface n hence nt scratch proof.. Chanced upon this as i saw another design on monday which costs twice of the one i initially liked and the salesgirl persuaded mi to buy that as it is sapphire crystal..

I was stunned for a second as the Made in HK tactic has already discounted my decision to buy the watch by 50%.. Now with this sapphire crystal ruse, I guess i will not buy seiko in the near future unless i realli have no choice...

So from todae onwards, i shall extend mi list to include no MAde in HK goods.. I have learnt my lesson and will definitely equate poor quality to China made.. No offence though to the maiinland people..

RE: Post Exam Update

Finalli comes the end of another hectic semester.. N of course the exams.. So its time again for m1 to update this blog and spend t1me with my frends to let them noe wat im busi wif..

Actualli exams was over since last wed.. But i decided to be "selfish" and decided to start shopping.. Orchard definitely look different although it has been onli 2 weeks tt i was "confined" at home... Nvr felt so lost and directionless in orchard.. Realli felt embarrassed as mi click of frens and mi are known as the "shopping gods".. hahaha.. Timk its time for mi to retire as one and instead be the drama god... Been watching dramas like crazy and i finished 3 dramas within 5 daes... So proud of myself..

So i decided tt todae will be an outdoor dae.... N tt means Sh00ping!!!! Feel so relaxed walking down orchard and marina square.. T0dae was an efficient dae as i managed to finish my xmas and ny sh00ping for mi clothes and have also bought a tee for CNY as well.. f1nalli it seems tt CNY sh00ping has become easier as i usualli take 2 months to complete this godly task of CNY sh00ping..

SO all in all.. Im happy that i managed to go shopping and have watched all the dramas tt i targeted.. SO tml onwards will be hall dae... N bridge daes... With all the competitions and inter hall.. Haix.... Wish mi luck!!

Busi week..

This week has been an extremely hectic week, with 2 quizzes and a project deadline cum presentation... i started with the tax quiz on wednesday, and i shall not tok about it, cos it makes mi feel "sad"... Then comes the project... This is the first time that i have burnt couple of nights till 3AM, yes no mistake in the time, in order to do the project... Feels damn shag and tired and it is onli an elective to me.. But it seems that i am spending even more time on it than on my other projects so far.. It has been ages since i had to do projects till so so late...





Realli wondered how i managed to survive this week and the damage done is veri obvious... I am now officially sick... Down with a flu liao and it feels terrible.. But that has not stopped mi from planning for a "nice" dinner at my place coffee shop, which unfortunately turned out disastrous... I shall not sae anymore, except to show you the picture of what i ordered and let you guys guess wat it is...

And i promise that i will officially boycott this place for eva...

RE: Hi Again

Phew... How time flies and once again the semester is coming to an end.. Which means that exams are creeping near again... Been very tired this semester as projects are so many times more challenging and the endless stuff to read and do... N i still have another project due and 2 quizes next week... T1me to start mugging again..

But this weekend, i totally am on a off mode... As i have been chong-ing my dear 215 project this week almost everydae till 2/3AM... I am so amazed and proud of myself.. for being able to last till this late.. But i had no choice as i have to study for the quizzes next week...

So for this weekend, i have decided to declare it a break weekend... which means that i get to go shopping again.. Been at it yesterdae and todae and indeed i feel much more relaxed after the shopping spree.. But i also noe that next week will be a busy week ahead....

Week 7 Finalli

Finalli its time to sae Hi again to mi frens... Been quite a while since i updated this so called blog of mine... So what have i been busi with??

Projects have started to stream in and i have more or less said my goodbyes to shooping and mj for the past 3 weeks... Mj-ed onli twice.. Haix.. But it is good as it means that i have actualli studied more.. Hurray..

But wif cca commitments, i realli doubt that i will much free time except for this one week to rest and enjoy myself as much as i can..

Come school open, i will be flooded with project deadlines and quizes.. But for now, it is time to slow down, take a deep deep breadth and start saying HELLO to sh00ping again..

Todae was my first dae of holidae and wat a better way to celebrate it except by going shooping again.. Realli missed shopping and the leisure walks down malls..

So i expect most of the week to be spent on relaxing althugh i have tutorials and project meetings... To mi frens in ntu, take this chance to relax and make the best of this one week break!!!

WEEK 4 liao!!!!!

Mi frens have been wondering why i have not been updating my blog for soooooo long.. N it simply boils down to a one word reply... BUSY and tts it...

Its onli the first few weeks onli but i have been bombarded wif presentations and presentations, not to mention my tutorials, revision, cca and erm certain activities.... I guess mi frens will be smart enuff to decipher what certain activity i am referring to...

But since last week, i have resoluted that i will stop doing tt activity till the holidaes come, unless i need a breather... Cos i have been too busy to even indulge in that, not to mention my love for shopping and movies and other stuff such as my 100AU elective..

Speaking of which, i haven seen her for two weeks liao.. haix.. we have both been too busy and sms and msn msg is all we can afford so far and it just doesnt help when she is also busi enteratining her fren, who has come from the other part of the world to meet her... N they have known each other for onli barely 3 months in HK during summer studies...

Other than that, my life has been realtively flat and draining... starting to feel the stress and soon it will be crunch time for projects.. But i will not complain.. As i have great project mates for this semester and i belieev that the synergy will just work out fine for mi...

week 1 of school

How t1me flies and week 1 has officially come to an end... there goes my holidaes, honeymoon and of course mj-ing, my favourite leisure activity.. Reality has hit in and soon it is time for mi to begin studying as i have promised myself not to feel disappointed onli at the end where i receive mi results.. So its goodbye to all those leisure and fun filled activities and time for mugging,mugging and mugging...

But i believe that i should try to seek a balance and try to maximise my undergraduate life and enjoy it to the fullest. so it means studying and playing onli at the right times.. How philosophical...

But i must admit that the first week of schoool is enjoyable.. Although it signifies getting used to waking up punctually for early lessons and remaining awake for it, it is all worth it when i c my beloved tutorial mates again.. feel so happi that i am able to be in the same class as them again for this semester after much deliberate planning..

The weekend is as usual for mi.. tuition and shopping cum movies.. looking forward to weekends nowadays as it symbolises a fruitful week has come to an end and it is time to unwind..

tml will be week 2 and soon projects will be part of my daily life.....

A week in Hostel..

This entire week i din have time to update my blog as i was stuck in my hall.. wass supposed to help out in the FOC but in the end, there was hiccups and i din help out in the end.. so i ended up spending the entire week rotting in the hall.. So wat to do except mj everyday.. Hahahahaa..

Sumthing interesting happened on tuesday when i was helping my senior shift her stuff to her new single room.. When we entered the room, firstly the wall fan was damaged and shook violently when we switched it on.. any longer and the whole fan will smash right onto your legs.. Then there was a hole in the wall and the sockets were loose.. my senior began joking about how violent the ex occupant was to have "inflicted" such damage to the room... Now comes the interesting part..

She saw sumthing on the topmost shelving but couldnt reach it and asked my roomie to help her.. he was completely speechless and din noe what to say.. so he just showed the "thing" to her.. Guess wat.. It was a box of 12 durex which was labelled extra sensitive... completely disgusting but it was funni initially.. So we decided to bring it down to hall office and lodge a complaint..

But other thanb that, this entire week was boring until todae when i finalli met that special one who has since come back frm HK... So excited and happi to see her back again.. Went for dinner together before sending her home as she was sick... sad..

Tml will just be another dae.. Bridge in the morning and then back to hall in the evening for my usual routine... *evil grin*...

0ff1c1al end to my h0lidaes

wah.. Indeed 3 months of holidaes have come to an end officially for mi todae as i prepare to check into nanyang hotel on monday.. N wat a great dae todae was as i managed to satisfy and pamper myself..

I started the dae with tuition as usual where my student decided to drop mi a huge bombshell tt prelims is in 2 weeks.. Omg.. wan to enjoy also cannot liao as i have to help mi prep for his exams.. N the weather was cool and rainy- perfect timing condition.. I ended my lesson at 4pm and went to do "something" to my looks.. sounds like cosmetic surgery and i spent 4 hrs for this "makeover".. Haix.. so by the time i was done it was ready 8pm and i went for dinner at orchard again.. After dinner, when i decided it was high time to go back home, i came across the polo tee that i wanted!!!! wow and its in my green color.. Realli wanted to dash into the shop but unfortunately it was closed.. wondering y i din come across it yest when i was at paragon.. haix.. So theres goes my polo..

But luck was wif mi and a similar shop at takashimaya had it as well.. I went to try it on and finalli decided to purchase it.. Wat a great way to end my holidaes wif a perfect gift to myself and a makeover..

So although i will be busi next week in hall wif foc.. i have no more grumbles as i managed to get everything or ALMOST 90% of what i wanted.. Last buy for the GSS and soon reality will hit in as i will be answering queries from my friends.. The magical question asked: the total damage for the GSS and holidae period?? i shall start counting and give my frens an answer soon when the time is ripe..

End of holidaes.. 6 more daes to go...

Sh0pping... Shopping

Yay.. I am very happy todae and hence i will have a second entry.. i went shopping todae again with me best buddy before we wtched the movie.. Went to a shop at Ps and saw realli nice capris.. And i ended up buying 2 pairs straight.. Indeed shopping is my soft spot and those who noe mi well know tt once i set my sight on sumthing, i will get it asap once my budget allows for it orif i feel tt it is very nice, then i will just buy it immediately

These two weeks have been an eventful 2 weeks for my shopping extravanga..

First was a bad experience at Lido isetan... This store is the latest addition to my blaklisted list cos of bad bad service.. It realli pissed and agitated mi so much that i sent an email to provide "feedback" to the managers on the service.. wat happened??

i went into one of the boutiques there as i was on the lookout for a polo tee that i saw.. As i stepped into the boutique, no one greeted mi but i din mind.. However, the 2 part time staff was busi gossiping in front of mi and i believe they were toking about MI as fingers were pointing.. Haix.. But i ignored them and approached another staff for help.. In the end, she told mi bluntly to look for it at tt corner.. i felt so disgusted as i ahd to rummae through the pile for my polo?? i don tink so.. so i left the store fuming and sent an email the next dae.

mus sae tt the mgrs are super efficient.. By he end of the dae, i gt a reply.. Asw usual it was to apologise for the bad experience.. N the 2 part timers tt gossip gt sacked.. WOW.. on one hand, i feel pity for them but i don tink i am the first one to complain for them to tak such a drastic step.

Then, the next incident was supposed to be a happy one.. Got a call tt the polo i wanted has arrived in singapore... Finalli... i told mysef.. I even told the staff to reserve the colors for mi and made plans to go down on sun.. but in the end, it was an error.. i reali cannot understand how sales staff sell things even without basic product knowledge.. I am realli amused..

M0vie Ma-ra-th0n

This week is the last week for mi to catch up wif my frens as i will be officially checkin in into Nanyang hotel on monday.. Well furbished room wif fridge,majong table and majong and aircon... wat else can i ask for.. Hahaha..


But before i lax around in the comforty room cumes the nightmare.. 1 full week of gatherings wif my frens... It nt tt i do not enjoy their accompany but i have nvr been tt busi before except for exams and maybe shopping... Tt's all..

And as the title suggests, i have been gg on a movie spree.. Ever since Harry potter and transformers, i tot i will be done wif movies but i ended up watching more..

Started wif invisible target on saturday.. It has my favourite actors, so must support and i kinda like these dectective stories.. Then i watched a korean comedy today.. It may seem veri "ti koh" but the movie is indeed veri funni and humourous..


Tml will be another movie day as i will be watching simpsons if i manage to get the tixs.. N hopefulli i will be able to also watch the My wife is a gangster part 3..

Y must they crowd all the good movies together.. Haix

H0ttest Topic of The w33k

Hmm.. Nothing to write about for this week so i will dedicate this entry to the "hottest topic" of the week not among singaporeans onli but amongst my frens..

N the honor goes to......... CITIBANK, with their newly launched citi clear card, a no income requirement credit card.. OMG, on one hand i will applaud Citibank for their speed in launching the card just when the ministry laxes the rules but on the other, i will sae tt indeed we are so so far behind time as compared to other countries such as the US as they ahve been using such cards since god knows when..

So when they did launch the card, it was my friend who alerted mi to it.. She was one of the first to inform mi and by then she has received her card.. Indeed it is a game of fastest person rules as by the time i was persuaded to apply for it, the waiting time has increased to the magical 2 weeks.. Kinda reminds mi of the time that i have to spend waiting when i reserve items on my shopping list.. HAHA.. So now, i have shifted to waiting for my card... How ironical..

The launch has fetched mixed reactions from the public, some supported the launch of such a crad whilst some condemned the move as irresponsible.. But i believe that indeed any responsibility should be borne by the parents and the child who applies for it..

Indeed, parents should think twice about the matter before pushing the burden to others.. In the past, when we did wrong, parents will admit and apologise, but nowadays, i believe that children are indeed a pampered lot as parents will shield them from any blame and punishment even if it is their fault. Hence, i realli cannot condone people who readily push the blame and esponsibility to others rather than themselves..

An update into my life, nothing much has changed for the past week, except that i am now busy planning for the next BIG class gathering... Shopping and watching movies are still part of my weekly or rather daily routine... Hahahaa

2 more weeeks of holidaes.. sob sob...

Meaningful Week

i have been relatively busi during the past week as i was busi wif outings, gatherings and tuition... Got a rude shock as my students will be having prelims next month... OMG.. And now i am also super stressed as i have to ensure they are adequately prepared.. But that shouldnt be a major problem..

Then i had a couple of gatherings with my friends.. Went for dinners, chit chat sessions etc and i got kinda worried as most of them are now working and i realized how high the monthly expenses can run to and how tight their budget is.. They even tried persuading mi to scrimp and save as i have onli 2 years left before tt dreadful reality will hit in.. Bills. transport, food and the loan repayments.. They will keep streaming in and will be your "closest buddy" till you are able to earn a decent income.. Haix.. looks like my honeymoon and shopping sprees may have to undergo a "budget cut" soon and i am beginning to feel lousy about it..

Also had a gathering with my best friend of almost 7 years yesterday and tt was when i was counselled... Wat he saes does make sum sense but it is just that i am so free during holidae time that not going out and shop is virtually impossible.. But come school time, shopping is almost like a luxury that i cant even afford to do as i will be so so busi..

One thing that may seem eerie is the taste of this best friend of mine.. since we have known each other, i realised that we always had the same taste.. From clothing to food and even wallets and watches.. Haix. We are even using the same wallet now even though we did not buy it tog.. That's how errie it is..

then comes the interesting part of the meeting.. We had a bet with his gf when he realised that i was on the lookout for the wallet.. N guess wat, his gf was speechless as indeed i was planning to buy a new wallet and he already has it!!!But he is keeping that wallet for future use as the current one is still new..

Looks like we have to arrange to ensure that we will not end up looking like "gay partners" when we go out.. Haix..

B0red T0 Death

The past week has been so lifeless and boring.. No work, no program and no gf... Din noe that I will be so listless and everything just seems so wrong.. Din blog also as i realli dunno wat to write..

Decided to re start my blog todae as i am realli realli bored and at least typing on my blog helps mi to relinquish sum time away.. Heard from fren tt the subject registration ting is realli scary as slots get swept away in seconds ( even faster than the hello Kitty soft toy)... So its like playing a mixture of stock bidding and who wants to be a millionaire as the fastest "wins" by getting their desired slots.. Sounds exciting rite.. But u will be freaked out if you are the one bidding for the slots..

It will be my turn tomorrow and hopefulli everything will be ok..

Just another update into my shopping extravanza... I have found a perfect way to beat the GSS fans who have swept everything off the shelves... I noe tt summone wil freak out to noe tt i have found a way to circumvent tt, but i have decided that patience is a great virtue.. So my solution is....... To Place an order for those items and wait for them to ship it to Singapore... Muahahahahahaa.... 2-3 weeks is all it takes...

R0tting aT h0me

Haix.. these few daes have been the slackiest daes of my holidaes.. been doing nothing except watching dramas,tv, eating... The onli time i have been out is on tues for a wedding dinner and for a movie on wednesday for transformers..

The movie was supposed to be an enjoyable one as it was my first movie in digital format.. At my favourite lido cinema... But my entire experience was marred by a technical glitch.. for the entire 5 minutes there was screeching sounds from the speakers, which was indeed deafening.. And afterwhich, there was completely no sound... Reminds mi of my younger daes where in order to put us to sleep, my babysitter will switch off the TV volume and make us watch TV with no sound.. I have since called it " Ya Ba dian shi".. Haix.. But luckily, the redeemin factor was the sleek graphics which i found rather nice.. N it was over before i could know what the story was all about.. so at the end of it, all i can sae is the movie is about robots changing to cars and vice versa..

As you can see, i have been rather obedient as i have not been shopping.. N its ready the fourth dae.. Horray!! But the real reason behing this abstinence is because the stuff that i wanted to buy but have delayed till now have all gone OOS..

From my slippers to my shirt.. N i have to wait a freaky one month before it will arrive.. Worse still, i quote the salesman: " Im sorri Sir, the next shipment that is cuming in a month may or may not have the design that you want. It depends on the merchandiser".... This is the one sentence that i have been hearing for who noes how many times. So in order to not hear that irritating sentence eva again, i have decided NOT to go on shopping any more till i manage to settle those Outstanding items..

So friends, i am now realli free as i onli have my lesson commitments.. Other than that, i will be free.. wat a sad way to conclude my holidaes..

I hate the GST increase.. Its to blame for the predicament that im in as everything is now OOS.. Haix...

On your mark, get set, go!!!!!

omg.. saturday is indeed a veri bad dae for going out... Everywhere is so so crowded as people gear up to do last minute shopping to beat the GST increase.. So as expected, alot of stuff went OOS ( out of stock) and you can see desperate people running all over the place.. I do admit that i was one of them.. Ha ha..

Wanted initially to buy my sling bag as there was a 10% discount on it.. This brand seldom/nvr had any sales before so this 10% worked as a psychological incentive for mi to bust a decent sum of my allowance just to take advantage of it.. But as expected, the color that i wanted was OOS and there was onli black, sandy brown and some other colors which i don member..

In the end, i rushed down to orchard to get that bag as there was one last piece available.. N guess wat, no discount at that store.. But still, i willingly wanted with my money as i realli luved that color..

MORALE OF THE STORY: Shops should give a discount at one shop and put the nicest color/design at another without the discount.

On sunday, the first dae of the GST hike.. i went for lessons as usual and after lessons, went for dinner with my dad.. My goodness, the food centre was crowded as well.. And guess wat, even food also can be OOS... Haix.. so we ended up eatin chix rice and satay.. so boring...

Tat sums up my boring weekend..

T1me to hel my D1sappointed heart

Todae was actualli supposed to be a happy dae for mi as i was supposed to go shopping again after taking a one dae break.. N todae is also my official ORD day.. Finalli free from the daes where we wake up at 530 and commanders screaming half left down and drop 20.. Indeed it is a cause for celebration...

But yesterdae mid night, the results of the double specialization program came out.. N indeed alot of my friends could not get in.. Guess there are indeed too many scholars and people that score perfect score..

So this whole thing has spoilt and dampened my mood for shopping todae.. And the excuse for shopping will be to heal my disappointment again.. This feeling is just so undescribable.. haix..

3,2,1 Act1on

tink i have realli been MIa-ing alot and haven been updating my blog.. Been rather busi this week.. N many sad events occured...

Firstly, my gf flew to HK for her exchange.. Although tt meant 1 month of freedom to shop and mj all i wan, but i am feeling rather sad.. Tot i will be ok wif her away as we are not realli the super sticky type but haix.. Absense does make the heart grow fonder.. Guess this sentence is realli true..

Ten i have been seeing a trend- bad omen... that all my frens tt got attached around the same time as mi are slowly breaking up.. One at a time.. Realli depressing.. Mb October is a black month to get attached.. Bad feng shui.. Ha ha..

I have also been busi shopping for stuff again.. No job and hence so much free time and my mum decide to "sacrifice" herself and accompany mi on daes where i do not have shopping kakis.. Bought a nice tee shirt... N looking out 4 a new pair of slippers.. Din noe tt looking for one takes mi 2 weeks and i haven realli seen one tt i liked... Haix.. Any recommendations?? ten my bag and my polo.. Tink im gg to have to "recuperate" for a long time before i can go shopping after i have bought these things on my list..

gtg liao.. Need to recharge o tt i can energise myself for tml.. Audieus!!!

M1ssing In action.

Been "away" for the past 3 daes as i had to return to camp on wed to do my clearance and ffi.. N that took up one precious dae of my life. had to shuffle between two camps.. N guess wat, im still nt done yet as the camp tt was supp to do my body checkup ran out of sum needles or wateva so they were unable to draw blood for testing.. Haix.. SAF is indeed veri inefficient till now.. even medical supplies also can short.. As my mdm saes: how happen if emergency.. ask tt person don fall sick issit.. Postpone to another dae till they have the supplies.. I practically laughed myself off the chair..

Thursday was basically another dae of retail therapy as my frens decide to cAll it so tt they feel less guilty.. But this time, it is wif my mum again.. guess its important to have your finance sponsors out wif ya especially if you have been spreeing away in orchard and other major shopping centres and am low in cash.. but i felt bad about asking them to pay for my stuff so i paid for my stuff again.. This time round, the damage was not that bad.. fortunately..

Guss it is high time for mi to start working so that i can finance my shopping kicks and not to mention my other expenses.. But i gt a feeling i realli cant concentrate on work ... i realli will miss ya..

An0ther Dae

Tuesday.. I woke up at 10am after being disturbed by my mum.. just as i switched on my phone, it rang.. So zhun.. I picked it up and it was a job interview slated at 230.. Finalli im gg to be one step out of the unemployed personnel and do sumthing useful..

Went for the interview which turned up to be sum form filling event onli and i was done in 15 minutes.. tt's my record for an interview.. But what the heck.. As long as im done wif it AND I can do my favourite activity again.. Yes.. U guessed it.. Shopping time again..

Todae was more of a window shopping dae as i needed to find out information on quilts and pillows... T1me to consider changing it.. but i was done in an hour and feeling tt gg home is a waste of my precious time, i proceeded to shop wif my mum.. ( c how filial i am.. hahaah)

Ended up buying sum stuff again as usual and i have decided tt im nt going to shop at OG as far as possible as the service is realli bad.. bad and realli BAD.. Don even noe the basic courtesy of saying thank you, smile and giving receipts etc to the customer.. Just chuck it on the table and expect mi to pick up the pieces.. Tt's sumthing tt i realli hate as it just prove tt you do not respect the person.. 9 Back to my cashierind daes, even how pissed i am wif the customer, they will still get the receipts etc on their HANDS)... Haix..

What has becum of the service standard in Singapore and i dare bet that if i was an Ang Moh, the treatment will have been different.. Im sure u all must have had a similar experience..

W33k3nd R0utine

Todae is just as saturday to me as i started the dae at 10am with lessons for accounting.. After the lesson had to rush down to nus for sum contract bridge tournament that lasted till the evening..

All went well initially and i was enjoying the gameplay when one of my opponent decide to start this whole crap thing about calling the director just becos i think abit too long before bidding.. here;s wat happened..

The opponent and us were bidding furiously to snatch the contract that were favouable to themselves.. But when the opponent bidded to level 5, which was quite high as they needed to get 11/13 cards, i tot about bidding an even higher level 6 as it was better for my team.. But i guess 30sec is a tad too long for these old chaps, who must be full time players as they look like retirees looking for ways to squander ther time. (P/s zr: you can consider learning contract bridge so that u have one more place to go other than hong lim haha..) they then decide to "threaten" my partner and told him that" they reserve the right to call the director" This meant indiretly that they tot i was cheating!!! Come on, cheating in some low division tournament where there is no cash or incentive for winning?? I give up..

But these are old men and i decide i shall nt be rude and argue wif them.. i just kept quiet.. By 530 all was over and i decided tt it was high time to go for second round of shopping to destress and cool myself down..

But i ended up feeling sad as i regretted buying the 3/4 capris tt i bought yesterdae.. I came across better designs and imagine out of the 10 shops i went, at least 8 had 3/4 capris.. OMG.. couple of weeks ago nt even a single piece and now everywhere has it.. haix.. speechless signing off..

A Happ1 DaE

Phew.. Todae is the first time tt i feel 24hrs is insufficient.. But who else to blame but myself as i slept till 12pm.. So by the time i stepped out of the house to go shopp1ng, it was ready 3pm.. So sad...

Tot tt todae will be just another dae of window shopping as member im nt a believer of GSS and new stocks are alwaes kept till after GSS... But i was proven wrong todae... My first stop was Robinsons at Centrepoint.. U mus be wondering wat im doing there when i don need formal wear..

But after its "revamp", i kinda like the men's department as it has new brands of casual wear and sports wear like adidas.. So i did my wallet injustice finalli as i indulged in shopping after so long.. Finalli saw some sports shorts and a tee that i liked and within moments, im poorer by 90..

Just tt i tot i was done and was headed to the exit, my shopping "companion" came across a poncho sling bag.. I luved tt bag too and within seconds agreed that we shld buy it ...

At that time, it was already 8pm and we decided to take a casual walk to do window shopping before heading home at 10... At hereen, i came across a pair of 3/4 pants.. finalli one piece i said to myself.. I immediately went to ask for my size.. 0nli to noe that it was the last piece.. And acc to the salesgirl, whole of Singapore is OOS.. ( out of Stock).. And guess how much tt piece was.. 100 bucks and yet OOS after being on shelf fro less than a month.. Im speechless..

So i headed to paragon and gt a shock.. we saw the same bag at a l0wer price.. OMG... But wat to sae.. Buy liao just use loh.. As long as she like it..

Last stop, Isetan wisma as i had a voucher to use.. went to level 3 and came across another 3/4 pants by G-****.. Din dare to raise too high hopes as i din wan to be disappointed.. A salesgirl came by and offered her help.. I told her i was looking for 3/4pants.. Immediately, she told mi it is called capris.. Wa.. so high class name or maybe my england nt powerful enuff.. But i tolerated and smiled..

Yes.. There was my size and the colour looked nice.. Finalli i said to myself.. But it was a disaster when i tried it.. The cutting looked so weird on me..

I left the store and had given up on looking for one liao.. But my companion saw one by s********.. N the color was right, design ok and the thing looked ok on mi.. Yes, the search for 3/4pants or capris or anything u wan to call it is finalli over...

Haix.. so fast 10pm liao and its time to hear the classical music tone tt stores play.. It was a fruitful shopping dae but it is nt enuff.. Time for round 2... Any takers... but i need to heal the hole in my wallet first.. haha.

Yesterday marks my last official dae as a "green" personnel.. I was supposed to be feeling veri happy as i have finalli completed my ns but i realli missed my friends in camp... N i gt even more depressed as i have yet to find ways to quell my time away..

Todae is the first dae of freedom and i slept till 1230... Had a good dae of rest after so long... Program for the dae... Movie time as i haven watched sum of my to watch list of movies and its time to clear the back-log before other great movies like harry potter comes along..

tt's all 4 now..

F33Ling sad and S1ck

Haven been posting anything for the past 3 daes as i was sick.. Down with food poisoning and indigestion from eating yong tau foo.. Close friends will know that i seldom eat tt as i prefer my spicy meal over tt plain tasting and msg filled soup and tou foo.. But i decided to have tt as i wasnt feeling hungry and was too lazy to tink about lunch.. The main culprit over my illness is the china lady at the stall who somehow managed to coerce my mum into buying $5.50 worth of yong tau foo.. who in the right frame will actualli eat tt much of yong tau foo... But i decided to be appreciative and devoured the whole packet down..


I then went for my afternoon nap and when i was up again, i felt so uncomnfortable... This whole ordeal lasted till todae where i finalli managed to have my first decent meal in 2 daes..

So lesson learnt.. From now on.. no more yong tau foo for mi.. im deeply traumatised..

An0ther S1imple Dae

Din noe what to write about so took an unofficial one dae off yesterday... Yest was just another normal dae for mi..

Shopping,eating,shopping,eating and then sleeping.. Wat an easy way to spend a dae.. While i was shopping, i have proven my theory right.. That quality can be measured by the cost of the item..

GSS is just a way for retailers to clear their "unwanted" stocks and shoppers use that excuse to engage in excessive purchases.. Onli to regret it after buying as it do not seem that nice..

Hence, I am seldom an avid fan of GSS and im slowly psychoing my mum and frens tt normal daes can be just as fun to shop as there may still be reasonable bargains but minus the crowds.. So why squeeze when we have holidaes till august.. hahaha..

But one shop had to prove mi wrong.. I was looking for 3-quarters pants and u know how difficult it can be to find one during this period.. So the desperate mi has been looking fruitlessly everywhere for a nice decent pair of pants and i finalli came across one at a boutique... But due to GSS which reduce the price by 50%, i can no longer get it now.. One week ago, it was still advertised at normal price and thinking tt ppl will not snatch it, i proscratinated it due to my army schedule.. N vola, one week later, the price fell 50% and it was swept off the shelves.. my heart aches...

Todae was supposed to be a relaxing dae 4 mi but i promised to help my classmate out with Accounts for a company.. Thinking that it will be easy, we ambitioned to finished it by todae when we started at 3pm.. But we were absolutely wrong.. I got the shock of my life when i saw the accounts.. It was in a whole mess and by the time we sorted it out, we could only complete the journal entries for 2 months before we gave up and called it a dae..

We went for a dinner at the national library Han's and found that the spaghetti there was quite nice.. It was meant to be a reward after a "hard" dae of work..

With no more drama series to watch, time realli pass by veri slowly.. Guess i will soon try to find another series to kill time.. Wish mi luck!!

a N1ce weekEnd

i met my past colleagues who were working wif mi at NTUC at the chalet gathering... It was indeed a fun filled but tiring dae as i rushed there after a morning of tuition for my students..

When i reached downtown east, i dared not believe the sight that i saw.. it has transformed so much since the last time i visited it and the whole place was like a maze to mi as i tried to find my way to the chalet area..

But other than that, the whole chalet surrounding looked quite nice and i kinda luved the new look of the chalet.. I finalli managed to navigate mi way to the chalet and i met my colleagues who were already at the chalet.. We then went to white sands to do sum last minute groceries for the bbq.. N i realised sumthing.. Singapore is indeed far behind and it will take ages for it to be a gracious and excellent customer service experience... The staff were oblivious to our requests and questions and often i felt as if i was speking to myself.. But wat to do.. just pretend to face my colleagues so tat i won be like a crazy idiot toking to myself.. N i had the same exp at the bengawan solo outlet there.. But i was in a good mood and felt lazy to confront the staff..

In the end, the bbq went on as planned and we ate our fill... Then we proceeded for my favourite programme of the dae.. Card games such as blackjack.. it been ages since i last played these games ever since i booked into hostel where mj was the norm game.. We din realli gamble but came up wif funni forfeits and drink mixes as punishments.. Wat a memorable dae it was 4 mi and it was def a dae well spent wif them..

HappEn1ng Fridae

yest was indeed a busi day after my post.. rushed out to meet her majesty at her workplace and went for a nice dinner.. Sad to sae, my appeitite has been dwindling but hers has been increasing.. so we swopped roles yest and she ate my portion as well.. hahahaha... We then went to clarke quay for sum japanese ice cream.... feel so bloated and constipated... Just as i was walking by the "river" i came across my bridge club friend.. Wat an embarrassing moment as i was engaged in sum funni talk with her and din notive tt he was actualli beside mi.. Got a rude shock when i finalli saw him..

How time flies and soon it was 940pm... i sent her home before proceeding back home to bathe before gg for part 2 of the program.. Mj with my classsmates... My mum lamented that i was like a seventh month gor tai singer tt is rushing frm place to place.. wat an apt description for my first free fridae so far..

I definitely enjoyed the dae.. Thanx all for e accompany and it was indeed a fulfilling dae..

aNother B0ring dae....

How time flies and its friday once again.. As usual i've been slacking around whole dae trying to catch up on my HK drama.. Looks like its time for mi to learn from zr how to spend time as an unemployed personnel.. Who knows?? maybe its time for mi to be a member of his unemployed personnel club.

But im not gg to waste my week again.. its time for mi to catch up with my gf... been neglecting her recently due to army commitments and my bridge tournaments during the weekends.. Just wanna take this opportunity to tell her that i luv her and sorri 4 nt being there for her these few weeks..

Besides that, another reason for celebration is another round of mj session with my tutorial mates, who happen to live close to me.. look forward to this mini gathering as i din manage to attend the class outing recently..

a sLack dAe

hahaah.. Finalli my main "project" for the army is over and my department scored an A for this stock check... So im officially now on a one week break from army.. But wat shld i do??

Its definitely time again to be a serial drama watcher... im no longer hooked to korean drama and now i've switched to HK drama.. it has a totak of 20 episodes and i have actualli watched half of it within 8hrs... Looks like i have to stock up on more serials to get by this entire week...

Life in camp... a lEarning Experience

On May 8th, i was indeed a sad dae as it marks the start of my army life again.. its time to don the all time yucky all green cloth and face sumone whom i din get along well with-my encik

However, things turned out to be better than expected as i was actualli able to talk coolly with my encik over brakfast. But i was no longer under him as i requested to go to the logistics branch.

My only responsibility was to help out with a WITS project tt involved excel and access and it definitely reminded mi of my IT project and the times where we were smoked by "Ninja turtle", our beloved IT tutor. i had to help out with the LRI, which is a stock check.

How time flies and now, the checks are going to be over.. results will be out in 2 hours time... it will decide my fate for the remaining 1 month tt i have left.. feeling nervous and quite bored as after todae, i will have no more jobs to do... N i guess, tt's when i will becum a full-time blogger... hahahaha..

I realli missed school time and the time that i spent with my friends and hall mates, screaming away and mj-ing all the time... Although projects may be tough, i still enjoyed the process and the time tt i spend with my grp mates.. Realli hope tt we will be able to be together for the next semester..

tt's all about camp life... Signing off and waiting for my fate...
